Just 10 days old, Charlie Axel Woods has made his international media debut – with the son of golf champ Tiger Woods appearing on his dad's Web site.
In all, there are five photographs now published on Golf.com of Charlie and the family, who are all shown, in various stages, kissing the new arrival. Even the family dogs get into the picture.
Charlie was born Feb. 8, which prompted his proud father to post on his Web site: "Both Charlie and Elin are doing great and we want to thank everyone for their sincere best wishes and kind thoughts."
Sister Sam Alexis was born in 2007 – and, if these new photos are any indication, isn't shy about showing her love for her new little brother.
Speaking for himself, Sam and wife Elin Nordegren when Charlie arrived, Woods also said, "Elin, Sam and I are very excited for the new baby to arrive, although that's when the real lack of sleep begins."
His daughter is a little doll!
Nice to see a family-man, family-oriented athlete. No stories about guns, booze, strip clubs, arrests. What a nice change.
A great college friend of mine, who's a Swedish immigrant married a girl of Asian ancestry. Her first child came out and was white as Pat Boone with blond hair and deep blue eyes (still has them). She says all the time that if she didn't see the baby come out, she wouldn't have believed it was hears.
The pooches are awesome!

I think it’s pretty typical for even babies with two black parents to have lighter skin in the first few weeks after birth - it darkens up later. And obviously little Charlie has some mixed ancestry at work. Beautiful family.

His mother is 100% Thai and I think his dad had some Chinese ancestors. so that might be about right.

Just curious — what was his dad’s other half? I thought “dad” was 100% black.
Yeah he left golf for surgery a week before the PGA was going to start testing for steroids.
Odd how all the best always have some possible steroid issues - Barry Bonds, Clemens, A-Fraud, Lance to name a few. No way Tiger went from a skinny kid to where he is now by going to the gym. Camillo Villegas did it going to the gym but he has no bulk and he is wiry.
He loves Obama too.

TIGER Woods is “a few weeks’’ away from a return to the PGA tour and could decide within days where that return will take place, his caddie Steve Williams said today.
Williams told Television New Zealand that Woods is close to ending his long injury layoff and will return to the tour mentally stronger than ever. “It’s going to be anytime, shortly,’’ Williams said.
“He’s probably 95 per cent of the way there. He was waiting for the birth of his second child which just came last week so he’s ready to go. He just needs a little bit more walking. He hasn’t been able to walk too well,’’ he added.
“Anytime in the next few weeks he’s going to tee it up. He definitely wants to play a couple of tournaments before Augusta so any day now he’s going to make a decision when he’s going to play.’’
