Just 10 days old, Charlie Axel Woods has made his international media debut with the son of golf champ Tiger Woods appearing on his dad's Web site.
In all, there are five photographs now published on Golf.com of Charlie and the family, who are all shown, in various stages, kissing the new arrival. Even the family dogs get into the picture.
Charlie was born Feb. 8, which prompted his proud father to post on his Web site: "Both Charlie and Elin are doing great and we want to thank everyone for their sincere best wishes and kind thoughts."
Sister Sam Alexis was born in 2007 and, if these new photos are any indication, isn't shy about showing her love for her new little brother.
Speaking for himself, Sam and wife Elin Nordegren when Charlie arrived, Woods also said, "Elin, Sam and I are very excited for the new baby to arrive, although that's when the real lack of sleep begins."

I dont see how steroids can help a golfer. He uses finesse, not brute strength or speed. True. Clubhead speed is the number 1 contributor to distance off the tee. In 2007, Tiger's last full year on tour, he was 12th in distance. However, he was #1 on tour in Greens in Regulation which is a direct contributor to scoring. That takes far more finesse as iron and ball flight control are far more important than clubhead speed. Steroids would not make a dang bit of difference there. And that doesn't even address putting where Tiger was #4 on the PGA tour for putts per green in regulation which is why he led the Tour by a full stroke in scoring average.

Unless you planned to make a strong statement suggesting the new president take a certain course of action... Exactly, if you get a platform like that, you use it. And from what I saw, Tiger used it to praise our military.

I don't believe Tiger is on steroids. He's always been a fitness buff and does a lot of strength training.
When I seriously got into play golf, I also became a bit of a gym rat. I worked out 3 to 4 days a week, did a minimum 30 minutes of cardio followed by an equal time of strength training. All that helped me be a better golfer.
But you know what really helped my golf game? I was the core stability training (think balance ball) and the yoga classes and the stretching/flexibility exercises.
Being all bulked up on roids might give someone big muscles and strength but golf demands a strong sense of balance and core stability and flexibility that you just wouldnt get from steroids alone

He uses finesse, not brute strength or speedStrength comes in handy hitting it out of the deep rough or buried in the sand IMO. But you are correct, for the most part, steroids would just get in the way... mentally as well from what I've heard.

I don’t think you would be invited to speak at an inauguration if you planned to make a statement opposing the new president’s plan. But, fine, I understand your point.
But, there are articles saying Tiger also donated to Obama’s campaign, too. I’m just saying, I wouldn’t be so sure that he’s a Republican, a conservative, or even apolitical.

Did a search on opensecrets for “Woods” and looked for Tiger, Eldrick and Elin and did not find one in the list.

Well at least Tiger’s wealth is the result of success, unlike some these CEOs paying themselves huge bonuses from their failing businesses.

After seeing it mentioned on various sports blogs
like this one, I looked for his donation on "opensecrets", too, and could not find it, either. I don't know where the story originated. But, my guess is, he's probably a Democrat. Both Republicans and Dems have been claiming him as their own, but he made glowing comments about Obama, and he spoke at his inauguration.
The only reason I commented on it was that someone else here commented first about it. My comment was only that I was disappointed. I don't know why anyone here took offense at my post.
Love the screenname, btw, now that I read the book and understand the significance of it.

If you are on a good diet and work out like you are supposed to it does not take a real long time, relatively speaking, to gain the muscle he has. When he starts looking like Arnold in his prime....then he is jucied.
