“Like all politicians, Mitt Romney is conscious that unless he wins, he has no real power and thus there are issues about which he may be reluctant to speak out about, lest the MSM make an issue of them resulting in loss of votes.”
Well, this isn’t one of them. He may be as slippery and dishonest and unknowable as you say, but even he is evidently capable of making something very clear if it means enough to him.
