if the rancher can afford to post an appeal bond, the punative shoudl be reduced on appeal.

MOST punatives are reduced on appeal.

The judge may save us time by doing that.

I JUST PRAY there is no award of attorney’s fees against the rancher.

starve the immigration activist lawyers and these cases go away.

I noticed in an article today in the WA Times, the rancher’s lawyer said he WOULD appeal. Since the jury threw out the ‘civil rights’ claims, the rancher will NOT be liable for attorney’s fees. Of the $78,000 awarded, $60,000 was for punitive damages.
