KG V class?Believe so.
The Royal Navy, still the largest in the world in September 1939, included: 15 Battleships & battlecruisers, of which only two were post-World War 1. Five 'King George V' class battleships were building.

I think these were the Lion class battleships. They were supposed to have 16 inch guns like the Nelsons. One was canceled and the other, the King George V was given the 4 15 turrets taken off the Glorious and Courageous to speed up construction.

Five KGV’s were to be built, then 4 Lion class. All five KGV’s were completed. If you read the story closely you find out these were the second two Lion class. Because of the start of the war they never were actually laid down.
