All conservative or reform candidates who plan to run in 2010 are already 4 billion dollars behind ACORN. But I will cheer for and vote for them for all the good that will do.

Total elimination of ALL taxes is a fallacy. Pushing for tax cuts and tax reform along the lines of a flat tax or fair tax would be the best solution.

A return to Constitutional government and federalism would be ideal. However, I seriously doubt that is in the cards for the foreseeable future.

The only hope is for Obamanomics to be a total failure.

You do realize I Suppose, that everyone in your state might not feel the same way, that they may want the State/local government to step in where the Feds left off, and that State/local taxes will rise?

These crooks, thieves and perverts now holding high office have bankrupted and ruined the wealthiest and most productive nation the world has ever known! Now all our wealth is borrowed and all our production has been shipped to China and India! And we ALLOW this PACK OF FOOLS to remain in office?

NO!

OUT ... every last one of them ... OUT!

Time for new elections, across the board. Keep the Constitution and throw out everything else. Reset.

And what political party should we pin our hopes on to accomplish this?Both parties are bought and paid for by special interest and they dont listen to us.As far as the Fair Tax,of which I am a rabid supporter,is concerned it doesnt stand a chance in hell without a major tax revolt.Who amoung us will start?

The problem isn't as simple as voting for the right people. It's a lot bigger than that. The problem is the 51% that vote for leftist/marxists and feel good about it. THAT is the problem. In addition to that problem are those who vote for RINOs and then feel good pretending that those candidates are conservatives. That's what ruined the conservative base this time around. So even if the correct people could be brought to power, we've still got two solid generations of idiots who have been trained by the public school systems, university systems, and their own parents who we'd have to contend with, in addition to those who can't tell the difference between RINOs and conservatives.

We're way past the point of the solution being as simple as voting in the correct people. I'm afraid the solution is going to be a tad uglier than that.

2 new laws that will solve the problem (but will never happen):

1. Line item veto
2. Congressional term limits.

Number 1 cuts them off from pork, and number 2 reduces the need for pork. It’s all about money.
