Total elimination of ALL taxes is a fallacy. Pushing for tax cuts and tax reform along the lines of a flat tax or fair tax would be the best solution.

A return to Constitutional government and federalism would be ideal. However, I seriously doubt that is in the cards for the foreseeable future.

The only hope is for Obamanomics to be a total failure.

Why do we need these federal taxes? The states will fund everything themselves, except for defense and other minor needs. The entire point is to remove the feds where they don’t belong by intentionally starving them of their oxygen, our money.

They may come after me if I say this: but what we need to do is PUSH for the defunding of Federal Police Agencies: NSA, FBI, SS, etc..then they won’t have the power to enforce any of their unconstitutional Bull sh*!

AMEN AND AMEN!!!!!! But the US Constitution is a "living document" - that must bend and adapt to the times (and the socialist desires of America's leadership).

I'm going to go vomit now...

It really isn’t a fallacy when you have a fiat money system. It would be if we had real money, like when the country was first established.

But since the government can basically print money whenever it wants because it’s simply backed by ‘confidence’ - whatever that may mean to anyone - and since we’ve had Federal Reserve chiefs who have said on record that given our money system, the tax system is merely punitive, we could do away with federal taxes.
