I'm just not buying this story. I'm not buying that this kid has hit puberty and is capable of reproducing.
I think they mean pregnancy rates for unmarried minors. Interesting to note that Holland, which is most vigorous in its sex education programme and promotion of contraception, has the lowest rate...
At least this baby has several adults to help raise her and they didn't throw the 15 and 13 year olds out on the street -

So true - but even at 15, it was a little scary being alone in a strange house with no noise - kids asleep - you heard every sound so loudly!

I agree - I still don’t believe it. I can’t help but think the girl has slept around and they’re pinning it on this kid. Maybe he’s done whatever he is capable of doing as well, but I still don’t buy that this is his child.
I also can’t help but wonder if they are still “active”. Are they now allowed to do whatever they want?
This whole scenario is perfect advertising for liberalism at its finest....
Children’s rights, sex education, permissiveness, absence of moral absolutes, you name it, this case reflects it.

I believe I read in another article yesterday that this boy stays over at her house....which indicates to me the parents allow him to sleep with her. They have a lot of kids so I doubt they have a guest bedroom....

Imagine how this 13 year old child is going to feel about sex in ten years, when he is actually old enough to be thinking of settling down with someone for life. What a pity to abuse God’s gifts.

I agree with you two. I don’t think Alfie is the real father. A comment on another site suggested that the real dad is a grownup who doesn’t want to get in whatever trouble men get into in Britain for sleeping with a 15-year-old.
If Alfie is the real father, I blame the girl. Two years is a big difference in age at 13-15. Perhaps she wanted a baby and grabbed a boy not likely to cause her too much trouble afterwards. (But I don’t think Alfie is the father.)
I suspect the real dad is a married adult, perhaps even a relative.

Hey, I’m 61 and I look much better than she does. It’s not age, it’s the abuse.
