USA - 2 Mexico - 0
Game over!!!
USA!!! USA!!! USA!!!
I lost interest in travel to Mexico in the 80’s, when the drug culture began to turn that country from largely second world into a violent, third world hellhole.
I’ve never had much interest in “soccer,” except to support my five year old niece, who plays the game on Saturdays.
What does pique my ire is fans in Mexico, a presumed friendly nation, chanting “Osama Osama” at a US team, after 9/11.
You complain about people complaining about “soccer” being gay, and then turn around and make the same sort of “taunt.”
Very adult of you.
Did any of you hear that voodoo dolls of the American team were handed out in Mexico? Is that true?
Curling is high on the list too.
Nice goal in the extra minutes to seal it up.
Jesus more powerfull than woooodoooo!
USA al the way to real World Cup!
The fact you are still talking about it means that it achieved its desired effect.
Rafael Marquez is Team Mexico captain. Believe he started the game. Figures....
Replays are now showing his foul was even more deliberate. Brought his hands up trying to take Tim Howards head off.
Si.
Cool. Should we chant “PERSHING! PERSHING!,” or would that be offensive?
That goalie is going to need armed guards when he gets back to Mexico. The drug cartels don’t take kindly to Team Mexico losing to the gringos.
One response is still talking about it? LOL, I guess that's more than you're accustomed to, these days.
I simply made an observation: complaining that an opposing team’s fans used “unacceptable” language is . . . Victorian?
Phfffft. Dismissed.
What the heck is that supposed to mean? Here, have a cookie.
Sven is pretty much finished with El Tri. He’s a decent coach, but that Mexican team is a mess.
