Brown admitted on the Tyra Show that he watched his father beat his mother. Do these things run in the family?
“Do these things run in the family?”
As far as learned behavior, yes.
Folks who claim to be experts say it does ... not in a genetic, but a cultural sense. A boy learns how to be a man by watching the men in his life ... likewise a girl learns how to be a woman by watching the women in her life. If said men and women exhibit perverse, debased, degraded behaviour ... what do you think the kiddies are learning?
I've heard/read that that is often the case. A child who witnesses domestic violence will often abuse his own spouse (or girlfriend) later on.
More perplexing (from my point of view) is that children who are themselves victims of child abuse are more likely to abuse their own child when they grow up.

Ok, I’m getting really sick and tired of people always trying to use someone elses bad behavior as a means to justify or explain their own. I’ve seen my fair share of abuse in my family as well and had sense enough to know that it’s wrong and that I can CHOOSE not to be that way. C’mon man use your gray matter.
