PLease pray for my daughter, Katie, who had a stroke and was rushed by helicopter to Cleveland for surgery. She is in her forties and has two children, one still in grade school. Since we live in different states, the information has been sketchy, but we do know that the stroke was a bad one.
This is good news for her recovery, Kate. All of you will remain in my prayers.
Just heard about your daughter’s need for prayers and find that many have already been answered.
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!

UPDATE:
Such true blue friends. You humble me with your goodness.
Here’s a chunk of the latest update from my son in law:
“I just spoke to the case manager and I will be meeting with them Wednesday to discuss her progress…they think she is doing very well…she does have some small issues…her hand…and some things they call “higher function” issues…I notice at times that her attention and focus wanders…but they seem to think that will clear up in time…I think some of this stems from the fact that she is unhappy with some of the questions and tests they ask…and she gives them the usual Katie-tude…another sign she’s getting better…I tell her they don’t understand her sense of humor and she just needs to go along to get along.
She and some of the other women there talk like they are in prison…”what are you in for?” seems to be the regular question…I asked her if she wanted me to smuggle in some cigarettes so she has something to trade for snacks and stuff…They are talking about springing her as soon as this weekend…hence the meeting Wednesday so I know what to expect and how we will proceed from here.”
Again, THANK YOU GOD, and THANK YOU FAITHFUL FREEPERS.
