If Senator Gregg was set up by obama he should do the decent thing and immediately resign. If he agreed with Obama in advance that his Cabinet level chair would be compromised by the removal of this traditional responsibility, he should do the decent thing and resign, repent, and beg forgiveness.

There's a constitutional and procedural fix for that. Filibuster the Census -- defund it, and let the Obamarrhoids twist in the wind while they try to justify grubbing up public funding for their nationwide gerrymander.
