If you go up to post 959 and 961 you can download the first 9000 posts of the original thread, in MS Word format. The download link only lasts for a week or 100 downloads (expires next Thursday night), whichever comes first. I'll upload the files again next week so it will be available to everyone, and repeat a few times.

I couldn't get the posts all into one big file, Word couldn't handle them all. LOL FR handles them with no problem, although it's not easy to search within that one big thread.

I'm glad you're here! I lived in Phoenix for nearly 20 years, and I miss it a lot. Although... it's awful pretty here.

Thank you so much! I swear, after reading this thread and having to read the other one, I should have some kind of a degree in something!

You have a lovely place...look at all the trees! (Unless you’ve lived in the desert you wouldn’t understand my excitement about trees!) We’ve lived all over and when my husband retired we moved back here. Yeah, tell me about the heat! That’s why we’ve been leaving during the summer.

Snow is what I miss the most. Not the shoveling, etc. but just watching it fall.
