Problem is, once you and your family are dead, the cops just drop a few ounces of drugs and a couple of hot guns in your house and walk away heroes.

There will be no one to contradict their claims.

I used to have a lot of respect for cops, but the more of these stories is read, the less respect I have for them. SWAT and DEA especially...jack booted thugs.

If an increasing number of people (and I don’t mean criminals. I mean people just like this and other similar cases) were able to meet the cops at the door and ended up dropping 1 or 2 of them, eventually they will run out of cops brave enough to kick in doors and run out of off the record dope and guns to drop.
I use to be a deputy sheriff a long time ago in Georgia, looked at a police job again after the Army. Decided I had some problems with what was happening and the mentality. Like you, I just can’t seem to garner much respect for them anymore, especailly the SUPERCOP tactical teams.
The one form of Gun Control I would like? Restrict law enforcement to .38 pistols and 12 gauge shotguns. No need for all those high military toys. If they feel they need those, call the military to do the raid for you.
