Premiers Thursday, February 12 @ 8 PM EST/PST on SeeBS
16 new contestants will compete for the $1 million prize in the highlands of Brazil.
Who will be the Sole Survivor?
I’ll be surprised if it’s that close.
Great season. Wish Brendan had lasted longer, though.
It sems a given that JT wins, I agree with the order of boots but I think Stephen will not get that many votes.
Could even be unanimous.
I think Debbie would vote for JT. taj and sierra for stephen. everyone else JT... 5-2 JT
with coach out its a little anticlimatic. Don’t dislike any of the final four, really. Of course, Jt is most deserving IMHO.
I cannot believe that Erinn is a hairstylist.
Is that really Erinn?? She looks very different at the reunion!
Congrats J.T.!!
Congrats to JT. He deserved it. The only other one could be Taj. Don’t like Stephen.
Very happy with JT for the 7-0 win. He played the Final TC perfectly I was surprised how poorly that Stephen did in that TC.
Excellent season, TO win after being down 6-3 at merge is a masterpiece...
Well, all in all I think that was a pretty good season. The best player won. Congratulations, JT, you deserve it.
Stephen, Stephen, Stephen...I liked this guy right up until the final episode. The clever strategist suddenly turned whiny and rather irritating. His shutout loss in the jury vote was a natural result of his poor performance in front of his peers. I’m still surprised that it was unanimous, though. I thought he’d get at least a couple of votes.
Coach...even if that lie detector test checks out, all it said was that he was captured by natives. It said nothing about him being tied to a stake, beaten with clubs, or threatened with execution. Nor did it say anything about him escaping...the natives might have simply detained him, questioned him, and then let him go. And to his “lady friend”...you’re dating a loser.
I still think Tyson’s a sociopath.
The producers have disappointed me in recent seasons by casting so many wannabe models/actresses/bartenders. This is especially true for the recent female contestants, and is probably part of the reason why eight of the past ten winners have been male. Contestants who are more interested in getting screen time than in winning don’t make for good television. They don’t fight hard to win and in some cases are so unfamiliar with the game that they wouldn’t even know how to play to win even if they wanted to. Come on, producers, give us another Danni Boatwright.
I hope Spencer’s apologized to JT for the prejudiced comments he made against him in episode 5.
Damn, I was wrong about where the next Survivor would be. It’s not India, it’s Samoa. Oh well, looks good.
I’ll have the final recap up in a couple of days.
One more thing...before the season started, before we got to really know any of the players, I watched each contestant’s introduction video. In Coach’s video, he said that he was tired of weak people making it far in the game and complained that Survivor had become, in many cases, “survival of the weakest.” I actually agreed with that sentiment...I really don’t like seeing losers like Vecepia, Clay, Kim Johnson, Katie, Sugar, etc. make it to the finals.
Where Coach and I part ways, however, is in the fact that Coach IS one of those weaker players, and is too delusional and arrogant to realize it.
I usually stop watching about 10 minutes into the Reunion show.
This time I watched it all.
Interesting that when JT was asked what he was going to do with the money he said something along the lines of “something with Steve” and Steve came back with an “Oh no we’re not”.
Yeah...I think Stephen just kept digging the hole deeper and deeper.
That was why he was SO over the top when he finally won a challenge. It kept him from appearing to be a TOTAL loser.
I liked in the reunion show how he came back at Jeff with “what would that have proven? Nothing.” in re to Jeff’s lie detector test. Then two minutes later “slams” him with his own lie detector test results.
Wait a minute, nimrod, why is it YOUR test proves something but Jeff’s INDEPENDENT test wouldn’t? Typical Renee pathetic attempt at logic.
Oh...and his, “I have video for anyone who wants to see it............IN HOLLYWOOD.” I’m sure he sees himself becoming an actor, but the sad truth is, I can see him becoming another trash “celeb” like Johnny Fairplay making appearances “Who wants to be Zamboni driver” or something.
Coach can’t hold a candle to Johnny Fairplay. Coach is just a pathetic piece of mule dung alongside the Survivior trail.
Hey Jill. Thank you very much for running the ping list and all the updates and recaps, etc.
YOU ROCK!
I missed the final TC with the final 2 giving their speeches. Is this online anywhere?
Thanks, JV! An excellent season, and a satisfying ending.
The best man won in my opinion.
I wasn't expecting JT and Stephen to vote Taj off. That had to have stung. In that tribal council, when JT was hanging his head when the votes were being read, I suspected. I understand their logic ... but still ... this was Taj!
The final tribal council ... OMG! That was certainly different. I kind of felt sorry for JT. Stephen can suck eggs as far as I'm concerned. Well, that is, until the votes are read ... now I kind of feel sorry for Stephen. I wish he'd have gotten at least one vote.
I thought Brendan was better looking in the rough. He needs to consider growing his beard back. JT sure is a cutie!! I wouldn't mind hooking my friend Crystal up with him.
No light loafers for Coach!! Obviously he's been following people's views on the Internet and was doing some damage control.
Survivor Samoa ... Treasure Island. Ought to be a good one!
GMTA Girlscout.
You post just about everything I was thinking.
I even have mentioned to my husband last night that Brendan looked better grubbed out!!!
Crystal, hmmmm.
I found it interesting that Coach brought a female to NYC.
