Premiers Thursday, February 12 @ 8 PM EST/PST on SeeBS
16 new contestants will compete for the $1 million prize in the highlands of Brazil.
Who will be the Sole Survivor?
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there, and congratulations to Tammy and Victor for winning The Amazing Race.
OK, I got one.
Coach is the first person to actually have extended conversations with Big Foot after having taught the creature American Indian sign language when both were held in captivity by aliens aboard a space ship piloted by Elvis Presley. Only three other people have ever heard this story (without laughing in his face).
It sucks that two lawyers won...but Tammy is pretty hot so I guess it’s OK.
:-)
You know, they’re nice enough that when watching them race, I don’t think of them as lawyers. Hope they do good things with the money.
If I was a juror on Survivor, when voting for the million-dollar winner I’d take into account not only how well the finalists played the game, but also what they might do with the money. It may not seem “noble” to consider that when voting but a million dollars is a lot of money, and the person who wins that kind of money can do a lot of good with it, or a lot of evil. Someone who’s likely to donate six-figure sums to harmful causes such as the NEA would not be getting my vote.
I’m thinking my answer would be something like...
I want to help others by buying stuff from them. Really cool expensive stuff. And contribute to whomever is running against the socialist president. If the country completely collapses into socialism/communism I would use it to help fund the resistance.
LG - the way this economy is going, you’ll need every bit of that money for yourself - after Zero’s government takes its 50% cut (to redistribute) so think of yourself as ALREADY giving to charity. Personally, I’d tell the jury I’m spending the money on booze and magazines.

Imprison Geithner or free Hatch!
Jill, is your spoiler based on emotions or facts? :-)
By the way, I hear Hatch is going to a halfway house.
Facts, of course. :-)
From the beginning:
“Name: Ben Wade
Age: 37
Hometown: Bolivar, Missouri
Occupation: Soccer Coach
Benjamin Wade is known by many names. As the head women’s soccer coach at the Southwest Baptist University in Missouri, he is called “Coach Wade,” but he also goes by Maestro due to role as an artistic director and conductor of a California symphony orchestra. A skilled musician, Benjamin was traveling the world playing the trumpet before most kids could even spell “trumpet.”
Wade sees coaching as another form of manipulation. “You have to find out what everybody wants, what everybody needs, what they think they want, what think they need and then you have to be the person that solves everything.” He knows these skills will be valuable in the game of SURVIVOR.
If Benjamin was asked to wear just one hat, it would be that of “Renaissance Man.” Aside from setting the world record for the longest solo kayak expedition on the ocean (an amazing 6,132 miles), Wade has also been attacked by a tiger shark, stalked by a jaguar in the Amazon and has been bitten by a piranha on his right hand. To say that he is a Type A, Alpha male, who likes to control the environment around him may just be an understatement. Coach’s dominant personality will be a force to be reckoned with in the game. He is disappointed with weak people making it to the finals in previous Survivor seasons and wants to make an alliance of strong players to take to the end.
Benjamin is single and currently splits his time in Bolivar, Mo, and Susanville, Calif.”

What a Drama Queen
Interesting tribal. Not sure that I agree with it.
Sunday will be interesting.
You got your wish. He’s gone! Can hardly wait to the season finale to see where the next Survivor will be.
Coach’s elimination, like Tookie’s execution, was a long time coming.
Loved Sierra’s celebratory dance in the jury box when the deciding vote against Coach was revealed.
On the way to the next TC Coach said something the lines of So he's not the captain of the ship anymore - he's more like the radar - the truth seeker.
Was all into the strong vs the weak, blah, blah, blah.
His little phone message was from a dude.
I guess Coach does not have a significant female in his life.
I found it very odd that coach complained of having hurt discs on both the left and right, as if he had two spines. I didn’t think he even had one!
Glad that schlock is gone, but it will make the final 3 more interesting. If Erin is gone, and the jury has to choose from steve JT and Taj, how would they go? Interesting.
I thought it highly amusing that the guy who “set the record for the world’s longest solo kayak” trip couldn’t build a fire or find food while on exile island. What did he do, stop at McDonald’s every morning?
It is a final two this year. Not a final three.
I think they would get the most jury votes in this order...
JT (most)
Taj
Stephen
Erinn (least)
Here are my predictions, based on no spoilers, just my gut...
IMHO JT needs to win the next immunity to stay in the game. I think he will win it though (the Spider Maze challenge), that will make Erinn the next boot...
So, Stephen/Taj/JT final three happens and JT wins again and takes Stephen to Final 2 because he knows he can beat anyone and no need to backstab his ally and maybe cost him votes from the jury. And JT wins big 6-1 with Taj the only vote for Stephen.
The above is what I think is most likely to happen...
The other scenario if JT doesn’t win the Final 4 IC...
JT is booted next leaving Stephen/Taj/Erinn. Both Stephen and Erinn know that there best chance to win is against each other, and Taj won’t win immunity so this would set up a Stephen/Erinn final 2, and Stephen would win that one but it would be close 4-3 with JT, Taj, Coach for Stephen and Brendan, Tyson, Debbie for Erinn and Sierra casting the deciding vote for Stephen but she could go either way.
In Jeff’s closing words last night he said “3 more tribal councils”, which I took to mean there will be a final 2 and not a final 3.
The dragon slayer has been slayed!!! And I agree with everyone, he is such a drama queen. I don’t hate him, in fact all his drama helped make this season interesting. I’m really glad he won’t be the winner though.
That’s a good point. He did make it interesting. Sort of like ol’ Howard Cosell — people LOVED hating Howard.
