What do you think would be more fun - Survivor or Amazing Race?
Hmmm.... for seeing the world...TAR. For the strategy and love of the original, Survivor. If I had to pick, Survivor.
After tonight I dislike Tyson a lot.
And that was a very stupid decision on the part of JT, Stephen and Taj to boot Brendan and keep Coach IMHO...
This is turning out eerily similar to Survivor: All-Stars.
Brendan is Lex, the rival alpha male with the target on his back. (These comparisons are based mainly on tribe roles/rank in the pecking order, not personality. Brendan’s a nice guy; Lex is an ass).
Sierra is Kathy, the rival alpha male’s closest ally, who swiftly follows him to jury duty.
Erinn is Shii Ann, the woman without a tribe.
Taj is Alicia, the strong but overconfident woman who doesn’t realize her low rank in her alliance.
Stephen is Tom, again an overconfident player blind to his low status in the pecking order.
J.T. is Rupert, the big man, strong and popular, who went to his doom in fourth place.
Debbie is Jenna, a born follower, happy with third place.
Coach is Boston Rob, the Jerk and self-proclaimed leader, arrogant and cocky.
Tyson is Amber, the second-in-command of the big alliance, riding the coattails of the Jerk and taking him to the Final Two so that the Jerk can play the role of easily-defeated goat in the final vote.
Please don’t let it turn out this way. Not again.

This was a great TC is that the alliances could have gone three ways. The “outs” have now shut the door on winning.

I’d love to do either but if I had to choose one I’d probably pick Amazing Race, just because you get to see more places.
I’ve heard rumors that Survivor 19 will be in India. We’ll see when Jeff Probst announces the location at the end of this season’s reunion show.
What is it with people and the final five?
When the merge happens everybody starts to jiggle around.
A power player likes to have a couple of sluggs riding the coat tails. The jury for the most part sees them as non-contenders for the prize.
So, if you’re brought in as #’s 4 or 5 in that alliance what makes you think you’ll go any farther?
Taj and Brendan “HAD” a good thing going, should have used it to to pop Coach last night. Coach’s plan he came up with a couple of weeks gao to split the vote and get either/or worked last night.
Oh, well, everybody is jiggly now.
So when does Coach stick the knife in Tysons back? At the final TC?
Assuming Sierra goes next, Taj, Stephen, JT, and Erinn need to get together at the Final 7 and blindside Coach, Tyson, and Debbie. That’ll be their last chance. If they just go along with Tyson/Coach’s plan they’ll be picked off one by one.
It’s not looking good right now, but Stephen did ask JT to promise that he would betray Coach eventually. Hopefully they’ll follow through on that, and not do it too late.
I only hope that it happens when Renee is preening about how wonderful he is.
