Donald Trump blames Arab Oil for the world crisis

Trump: There's Too Much Oil
newsmax.com ^ | July 29, 2008 | staff
Real estate mogul Donald Trump says there is way too much oil in the world to justify the current high market prices. "Frankly, I hear there are tankers all over the world that are loaded up to the gills with oil," he told CNBC. "They have so much oil they don't know what to do with it. It's ridiculous what's going on with OPEC and all of that." Trump blames major oil producing countries for the current recession and accuses large oil companies of "doing a major number" on everyone. Trump lauds the recent dips in the price of oil,...

Donald Trump Says – it’s the price of oil that is to blame by Ruth ...Sep 29, 2008 ... He said now the price of oil will plunge - possibly back down to a possible ... Trump blames the downturn on OPEC and the Saudi Arabians.

As far as the economy is concerned, though, Larry, I'm afraid that if and when the economy does get going, you'll have OPEC raise its ugly head and come out and just raise oil prices again and kill it, because I think that OPEC had a lot to do with the failing of the world economy. (Feb. 4, 2009)

Donald Trump, the only man I’m aware of that managed to bankrupt a CASINO TWICE.

I need his financial advice like I need a hole in the head.

Trump also blamed the arabs for the crisis last summer when gas was $4 a gallon and oil was $140 a barrel.

Also don’t forget that the Iraq invasion was about Oil - not taking out a ruthless dictator. We are rolling in the stuff right now - right?

Insane oil prices were a part of the picture - but this single factor does not the only cause by a long shot. It was the oil prices that pushed it over the cliff.

Finally someone has the b@lls to call it as it truelly is!
This is what has started this whole mess for US and we need to get rid of their influence once and for all. Gas will be back to $3.19 by the end of March. No bets?

Wrong. The Arabs are smart and acting in their interest in their oil policy (though not overall economic policy). It's the Western "leaders", the crooked libs in charge who deny us energy independence. As long as we refuse to strive for energy independence, countries like the magic Kingdom of Saudi A. will set the tone.

However the Arabs are stupid or incapable, for not diversifying their economies.

Ummm... the posted article actually includes that statement.

And Trump has not changed his position -

I would be in favor of supporting a spending program to expand the natural gas system in the US, especially from Alaska and build the infrastructure of public and private CNG stations, and to give strong support in all areas to get Americans into CNG vehicles.

Not to completely eliminate a gas or diesel engine but to dramatically reduce and eventually completely eliminate the need for foreign oil and its political repercussions.

And who was it that screamed like raving lunatics baying at the dark side of the moon, NO blood for OIL???? Stupid idiots had no problem with Saddam funding terror using his oil, but we give our precious blood and treasury and have NO claim to repayment of setting a people free....

D R I L L - B A B Y .......... D R I L L

Who gave the Arabs the power over OIL, our lying crooked liberals... WE the US has OIL so who are the liberals saving that oil for, while they gut US by destroying our economy.

lol... I got so steamed at the half baked Trump acting like he knows something I had not yet gotten to the comments posted.... I have no issue pointing out what the Arabs do when they do it but it is beyond credibility to blame them for what the liberals gave them opportunity and ability to do. They would be more than stupid NOT to take advantage of the offer.

Here's more:

Trump Blast Oil Prices and OPEC July 30th, 2008 • Richard Cochrane
“Oil (costs) is what is killing the world’s economy,” says Donald Trump. “Frankly, I hear there are tankers all over the world that are loaded up to the gills with oil,” he told CNBC. “They have so much oil they don’t know what to do with it. It’s ridiculous what’s going on with OPEC and all of that.”
Trump blames major oil producing countries for the current recession and accuses large oil companies of “doing a major number” on everyone. He predicts that oil prices should drop a lot more from its $121 a barrel level after spiking near $150 a barrel in June and it should be priced around $50-60 a barrel. “There’s a vast oversupply in the world. It’s all over the place,” Trump says.
Observers say if the U. S. would rattle its own domestic oil supply saber it would shock the market and costs would plummet. Oil experts say the U. S. could be free of Middle East imports in less than 3 years. But, progress is slowed by the November political race with Obama siding against more domestic supply to pander to radical environmentalists while McCain supports increased domestic production.

Oh so the Donald is going to demand the US be allowed to DRILL... BABY.... DRILL... and wall out the 'religion' of the environmentalist dirtworshipers? Sorry but itching about what Arabs have been allowed is NOT going to solve our dissolving economy... We need jobs and affordable energy to produce... not government wealth redistribution called stimulus, to consume junk that other nations produce with slave labor.

Blaming the Arabs or the Chinese for what this nation handed out and over to them is NOT productive.

It will be productive when/if it pushes for a DRILL mobilization.
