Dang it! I guess it’s time to upgrade from the Powerbook G4. Don’t wanna be obsolete.
One comment on the threads about this claims that the Powerbook G4 obsolescence only refers to the original TI G4 Powerbook... that may be correct because as I noted, the G4 laptops were not discontinued until 2006. Apple normally does not obsolete anything until it is seven years since introduction. I haven't seen anything official from Apple yet.
