Send me some rain! It hasn’t rained (except for a sprinkle) here since last October.

We are shriveling up and blowing away! LOL!

It has rained here for two days. This is a good time for rain as it will help all the spring things getting ready to bloom not too long from now.

Wish you all could get some rain. Meg is always talking about how she needs rain. You are from Texas too, aren’t you, Luv! Guess you and Meg live quite a distance from each other?

When I lived in Texas (in the 60’s), we got 4” of rain in one hour, one summer afternoon. It was an unbelievable downpour, and drainage couldn’t handle it. I only had a sponge mop, and was trying to mop four inches of water out of the house, by soaking that little sponge, and squeezing it out, into a bucket.

A neighbor came over with a big broom, and pushed it out the door (after the rain stopped and water started receeding.) Water can be a blessing or a terror.
