If we ever leave California, one of the places we are looking into is Prescott, AZ.
I really enjoyed seeing the Saguaro cactus. I wasn’t impressed with the rattlesnake, tho. :^ )
Not just rattlesnakes, Amy......there are scorpions, tarantulas, bob cats, javelina, mountain lions, gila monsters, and coyotes, just to name a few of the critters here. You will be lucky to see any of them, though. None of them bother people in the cities.
Prescott is about an hour drive from Sedona. I love it there. We must get together, when you come to AZ. ;-)
It’s much like where I live as per the cactuses and snakes...but we are flat as a pancake! LOL! Hot both places too!
