Good morning everyone!
We have about 6" snow here. more coming next couple days.
Party for Bill (FReeper wheelbarrow)tonight at nearby Holiday Inn .His singles dance friends. He invited me & these are not my favorite people etc but will go & take a lot of pix for him. There is so much game playing & dishonesty in much of the singles scene activities that I avoid them normally. But he fits right in & his tall tales are welcomed.
Sunday will go with him to his church where they will recognize him..(they apparently did that last Sunday at Momentum - my Christian church, when I was with my brother .. played his BoyzBand video etc)
Then I have a work "party" again at his house after church. Invited about 5 people to help for a couple hours - will do more packing , tossing, cleaning... then I will feed them.. Making a dish that people like. Pasta, Heavy marinara, big chunks mozz chees, Chili Beans, Salsa.. and after I take mine out add a healthy quantity of Italian sausage. Will have salad & dessert. Group efforts help a lot with projects like Bill.
My party for him is Tuesday night at Farinaccis in Hudson.. surprise. I am working on getting a LOT of pix on the lap top to run a slide show at pizza place where we will convene. About 30 people have responded yes to RSVP. Pizza, salad, wine, beer & Cake I will bring from bakery. I have a LOT pix from the years. My dogs really like him & have a lot of shots of the dog walks with him. His brother & sister arrive Monday night & his sons on Thursday. He will be gone Sat morning for good.
Here are a couple pix from my pup walk yesterday. I use the term rugged terrain & here are a few shots to see it. We go up hills & thru/across streams. There are not paths as such & a lot of big holes & a lot of down timber to maneuver. To people who climb the alps & rockies, this is NOTHING, but for me it is RUGGED!
I walked with friend John & his 2 dogs. He lives 20 miles south & we meet usually somewhere in middle a couple times a week. Sometimes with others, sometimes just us. There are about 6 places to meet midway & many more near him or me.
First shot is the first hill we go over. (see dogs in middle of pix on hill? ) He was there ahead of me & so I could follow his/dog's trail easily. We go up and down about 4 of these hills at this site to get to the better "stick areas".
see the stream to the right/above? about 1/3 frozen. Over next few days it will probably completely freeze over. followed foot prints about a mile .. again no trail & lots of obstacles making it what I call "rugged"
Found him at this stream location. Stayed about an hour. It was cold but the valley here blocked the wind. Toby & Tippy held on & fought over this "stick" for about half an hour. The male competitiveness. When Toby is alone with Josy he rarely is interested in stick. The oldest dog is Golden Retriever Chance to the right. about 12 years old. He needs help getting into Johns truck but still loves to romp & chase stick.
Lori: Have we seen this one before? Very cute! You can see I've gone back to Friday to answer some pings! :)I know Amy already answered your question about the Red Friday pups - she had sent me lots of 'red' graphics a few months ago, and there were so many cute little doggies, I just put several of them together to make a bigger impact!
Thank you all for the compliments - am glad you thought it was cute. :)
