I believe I would get the blood work. Why do you not want to do that? Strep is very contagious too, isn’t it? I guess I’m the only one who hasn’t heard of adults with whooping cough. But if thats what the tests show, I guess its the proper diagnosis. Good Luck!
The doctor did it on my hubby and is going on that with my diagnosis too,since the symptoms are identical. I really didn't want to go to the office, because I am so weak today. I have already started on the antibiotics.
Apparently there are cases going around again.
