GO SARAH GO!

Let the MSM, the DNC, and the RINOs take their best shots. They fear you and what you represent, and they know that 2012 with you on top of the GOP ticket bodes ill for them...as well it should.

There’s been a big flurry of concern generated by the AP (Anti-Palin)report. Gov. Palin is the real deal, she’s not selling out. She knows that she would lose a tremendous amount of support if she came out in support of the pork bill with it’s billions for ACORN.

Sorry, I disagree with Sarah here. In fact her whole grasp of economic policy is the only aspect of her that has me worried. Why should tax-payer money pay for a private enterprise? If a gas pipeline would be such a good investment, and would be good for the economy, why aren’t private investors lining up to fund it?

Perhaps they think it will only be a good return on investment if somebody else foots the cost of building the thing. This is not letting the market work, this is intervention in the market. This is politicians picking and choosing winners and losers in the economy, rather than letting buyers and sellers decide through the price system.

Most people simply do not understand the price system, and how interference with the workings of the free market can lead to an oversupply of one thing and an undersupply of another. The building of this pipeline ought to be carried out only by private enterprise, because those involved will be spending their *own* money and therefore make decisions more wisely, based on expected costs and benefits.

Instead, this is “we must have a pipeline” and to heck with the costs.

For the first time I’m reconsidering my enthusiasm for her run in 2012. I wish somebody who was both a strong pro-life advocated *and* strong on economic freedom would run.

Nice letter and sets the record straight about Sarah’s views on the overall spending bill.

Fox News just reported that Palin is breaking rank with the House GOP and supporting the stimulus bill. Hmmmmm

Perhaps the Governor could direct us to the part of the Constitution that allows the federal government to take money from people at the point of a gun and then hand it over to others.
