Need some kitty help.

I accidentally locked the older cat in one of the porches for 5 hours. She had no litter box. So we had some frozen poo, and somewhere a urine mess.

My friend said to get the stuff that has the enzyme that breaks it down. The hardware store had Spot Chomp with Tetraflex. I called the toll free number and only got a recording....It's Caterday!

So what is your experience in cat urine smell removal.

Thanks.

Mewzilla’s got it covered, IMO. You can also probably find something at Wal-Mart.

Ive found that cloves help, scatter them on the floor and after 2-3 hours leave a door or window open for circulation.

Are you talking about a rug? If so, you need to get a rug cleaner....pour Febreeze on the whole area with water and immediatly suck it up. You will have to do this many times over and over ....you need a powerful sucker machine ....it's worked for me. Once you get urine on a rug I don't care what you pour on it---the odor never goes away (unless you pour bleach but that is not likely). You need to completely get the urine out of it. Pour solution and suck it out.
The house I own now is completely tiled.....and that's the way it will always be for me....
