,
which published a review on akathisia: now quote the part about the very high incidence with atypicals that you refer to, instead of apparently a case report of three. Also note the Clintonian escape parsing of "the closest thing to hell on earth," which is what I challenged you on, vs what you say now , "a hell on earth" which, although hyperbolic , I would not object to. Oh, sorry, I'm putting words in your mouth, your own.

I am happy to provide you with an abundance of references on the incidence of akathisia in patients treated with anti-psychotics. I posted the case reports to illustrate the fact that (a) akathisia is caused by anti-psychotics, which the article states in the abstract, and (b) the state of mind is described by one of the patients as a "living hell."
If you want a report on the incidence of akathisia among anti-psychotic users, there are many articles you can read. A recent article with 99 participants showed that an anti-psychotic used for 12 weeks caused extrapyramidal symptoms in 59.6% patients and 33.3% of those had akathisia. See: Nasrallah, H.A., Buecher, M., & Paulsson, B. (2006). Placebo-level incidence of extrapyramidal symptoms (EPS) with quetiapine in controlled studies of patients with bipolar mania. Bipolar Disorders, 8, 467-474.
For a recent general review of the research on the atypical antipsychotics, see Pierre, J.M. (2005). Extrapyramidal symptoms with atypical antipsychotics: Incidence, prevention and management. Drug Safety, 28(3), 191-208.

Oh, please -- get a grip.
