Any time you have sex, unless raped, it’s a choice. He CHOSE to have sex with men. Gays may be more feminine or masculine by nature and upbringing, but they choose to have the sex.
This notion that it’s not a choice is ridiculous.
Trying to convince us all that homosexuals are normal.

Well, it’s just not and I’m sick of this oprah crap!

Correct. You can and do pray that these people wake up and see the light, learn the Good News, and the Truth. You do not wish them evil. You pray they DO COME to Christ and for real. I do not support Obama. But, I pray every day that he sees the light, wakes up, comes to Jesus and not his beloved Allah. I realize that he is probably not going to do that, but I pray that he wakes up just the same. I pray for ALL LOST every day. But, Jesus Himself said, the road to Heaven was narrow and few would travel that road. I am going to be one of those. I have been saved. For that I am proud. It is my life's greatest accomplishment.

Haggard just wants the money (and probably more gay sex).

Bob Grant always used to say on the radio that homosexuality is a compulsion. Haggard can't admit that he's a homosexual, and his wife is in denial too.

Haggard, like too many tele-evangalists, are worshipping money, not God. They talk the talk, but don’t walk the walk. That’s why in spite of his sins, he has the audacity to keep on trying to explain away why he did what he did and using Oprah to get more attention.

He and other “evangalists” are living high on the hog by marketing “God”. I could never understand why people send them money. As if they can buy their way to heaven. Their money would have been better spent by helping those who are truly in need.

No one forced him to toss salad either.

It’s whack-a-mole with these attention whores. Every time their head pops up they need to be whacked until they just go away.

We went to his church one time. Afterwards we commented how creepy he seemed.

Guess my gay-dar WAS working.

What makes you think Haggard appears to be gay?

I live in Colorado Springs and this is a local story. Can't we leave this guy alone? Hasn't he been humilated enough?

You've got it exactly backwards. Ted Haggard is the one who's booking himself on Oprah, Larry King, and all of the other shows. Why doesn't he leave us alone?

And since you're a local, you know that there have been new allegations about Mr. Haggard's behavior -- it wasn't just that one time.

The fact of Haggard's current self-promotion in the face of on-going difficulties suggests that he has more, and continuing mental issues to work through.

There’s no way she could be senator anyway. They’d have to widen the Senate.

You’re not alone. I wrestle so much with myself, I’m generally to tired to point at others.

Some people who can't afford it seem to get hooked on those evangelist's tv shows and get caught up in their "desperate need" for money....IMO

It's not just Oprah. Ted Haggard is booked on Larry King tonight. He's also the topic of a HBO special tonight. You're going to see Haggard all over tv. He's not slinking away. He wants to be in the spotlight.

I'm starting to think that he's looking for a job.

I agree with you. And many of those people are lonely and elderly, which makes them easy victims for these scam artists.

LOL. Haggard is the one bringing himself back into the public eye. He has apparently not humiliated himself enough, and wishes to continue to do so.

Folks who want to be left alone most assuredly do NOT appear on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
