What do KDE 4.2 and Windows 7 have in common? Neither one will run old Windows programs?

Actually one of the great improvements with 7 is improved backwards functionality with software and components, but hey lets not let facts get in the way.

With modern distros, WINE and dosbox are easy to setup.
KDE4.2 is just a user interface. It shouldn’t limit you to old programs.
