No, he’ll have to be better because he is President of the United States and no longer a so-called “community organizer.” He cannot/should not pull that commie crap on the whole country, but save it for Chicago when he leaves office in 2012.
I’m not expecting much out of him. “Higher standards” are not mandatory nor are they expected from two-bit Chicago, gangsta politicians. I only hold Republicans to higher standards because I expect them to know better.
Well 53% ofthe popular vote was for Obama. So 53% of voters were OK with holding Obama to a lower standard in electing him in the first place.
For the first time in his life, 0bama is going to actually have to DO something constructive and substantive, and be accountable for it. Now, THAT’s “change!”

I hold Big Ears to a higher standard because his standards are close to zero.
You mean when he leaves office on February 12, 2009 ~ that’s when his popularity percentage reaches ZERO!
If he succeeds (which won’t be that difficult given the 0-gasms by the MSM) it will be because he is black.
If he fails (only something more damaging than Vince Foster, Monica Lewinsky etc. would make this happen) it will most certainly be because of his caucasian half.

I returned to household tasks after posting this thread and found myself becoming furious. The man says “I am the one we have been waiting for” and appears amid greek columns for his speeches, uses NLP techniques to imply his the Alpha and OMega, and to top off his god-like promises/pretensions (remember, this is the day the waters start to recede) he ascends the throne upon a $170 million dollar inauguration (during a severe recession) and then the MSN has the GAUL to imply that WE are the ones with lofty expectations!!!!!
Define what better means when referring to a Marxist, specifically a doofus one like 0. Better compared to who? ...Carter? I don’t think he will make the grade.
