MIAMI, Florida (CNN) -- Miami police issued a plea for information Saturday after at least one person with an assault rifle opened fire on a crowd of people on a streetcorner Friday night, killing two teens and wounding seven other people. Evidence markers dot the Miami street where nine people were gunned down with an AK-47 Friday night. ... "These are weapons of war, and they don't belong on the streets of Miami or any other street in America," Mayor Manuel Diaz said.

So, nobody saw the weapon yet the police and mayor can pronounce this a shooting by an “assault weapon”.
They probably have shell casing that are 7.62x39. While 7.62x39 is colloqually known as an “AK Round” there are many, many rifles chambered in this cartridge, including bolt action rifles.
Of course, a bolt action used in a crime does not get CNN’s attention like an AK-47 would.
Don’t forget, liberal politicians know how to entice the media into covering their stories.
It can't be very deadly only 2 were killed and 7 wounded if it was really deadly all of them would have been dead.
Someday I will own weapons of my own. Someday I will be stationed in a country that isn't anti-gun (I'm in Germany now, England is next - but I'm hoping for Australia after that) - at least I hope so.
Repeat the lie often........ they have an agenda.
Stay safe !
7.62x39 brass seems to be in short supply. I found some Lapua at E. Arthur Brown (eabco.com) for 46 cents each (before the Obama tax gets added). I have lots of jacketed bullets, but I’m also looking into a cast bullet load that has worked well in an SKS. I’m going to try plugging the gas port on my Mini-30 for range practice use so it won’t spray the brass everywhere. Simple enough to change back if rock & roll time comes along.
