Sure wish Mauna Loa would put on a show.

I thought Mauna Loa was dormant and that Mauna Kea was the active one? Are they both still erupting?

Ah, I visited there in 2001. eerie place the lava fields.

Pele is still looking for me for taking a leak into a
live flow of her lava.

....and right there between Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea is.......the Pohakuloa Training Area.

Crossing the lava fields is a leg infatryman’s nightmare....
