With your mathematical prowess, could I interest you in doing my taxes? (Daddy sees a new bass boat.)

Why? Are you vying for a cabinet position with the new administration?

Your thinking too small. I want a billion. No forget that, I want a trillion!

I don't want one thin dime more than I earn but I would like to keep what I earn, now that would stimulate the economy. Because I know the value of my labor I will know how to get the best value out of my earnings.
Money given free is money freely spent and wasted.

Yeah, I already tried doing this awhile back, but there was too many zero's for me. I also figured if I missed the comma, I would get fried here on FR so I just kept it to myself. I thought of using the scientific calculator in Windows, but lost interest after I couldn't focus on all the zero's. After recounting several times getting different answers each time, I just gave up.
They are going to print the money, and you won't get any. Just get used to it.

Yes I am. Government service is now the quickest way to wealth in this country. We really need a Recreation Czar, and I would be outstanding in that capacity.

I love your math. It’s far superior to mine. You just got a few extra 0s. Oh, so, what? The Government does that all the time, but they forget.

BTW, if J. Worthington had proposed 10 million to each adult rather than just one, we would have been beyond trillions, and since it’s important that FReepers stay on the cutting edge of political discourse everyone needs to know that “quadrillion” comes after “trillion”, and after “quadrillion”, comes “quintillion”.
I figure we’ll be using these terms before the O administration is done, so just thought I’d share.
Have a great day!

Limbaugh actually mentioned this on his show a week after the election. Said it wouldn’t work for a few reasons. One was that it would remove the incentive to work and to stay produceive for a few people, but the main reason was that it gave too much power to Americans.
And the government doesn’t like it when the people have too much power for themselves.

Excellent point!
And of course if we excluded the 40% of Americans who don't pay taxes...
And if you exclude those over retirement age...
And if you exclude those in Prison...
And if you exclude those working for the government...
I think the numbers could work!
Has anyone seen Buehler?

...hey look at the bright side, your quick math and great feel good method could land you a job with the new IRS chief or Charlie Rangel, their always looking for a master number jumbler, a few “mistakes” here and there and you could head up the IMF,...????..ok ok...thats too high, ok go for something more realistic, switch parties and become a independent prosecutor for the Rats and never find anything wrong with....the....tax/./..,

Where to start?
The US population is now 300 million.
One million dollars per American comes to ...
Over a quarter quadrillion dollars.
Reality check.

Well, the math doesn’t work out, but that’s no matter, I’ve already determined that if I get any kind of “stimulus” check, I’m going to send it straight back to 1600 Penn. Ave. along with one helluva scorching missive.
