Bill O'Reilly who was obviously pissed at Jessica Alba, who called him a "bit of an a--hole" on monday, struck back this evening.
He nominated her as his "pinhead" tonight and rolled video of her having a conversation with a reporter where Ms Alba challenged the reporter to say something nice about 0bama.
The reporter claimed he had to be objective and therefore could not show any positive, or negative, bias, so Ms Alba challenged him to "be Sweden about it" ..
O'Reilly ridiculed Ms Alba, calling her a pinhead, because he claimed "it's SWITZERLAND! - Not SWEDEN" that is neutral....
Trouble is, Mr O'Reilly, while Switzerland claims to be neutral, it is known to have aided the Axis Powers during WWII whereas Sweden has maintained strict neutrality since passing "the Policy of 1812" following the Napoleonic wars.
Ms Alba no doubt knows this, since she has Scandinavian heritage, her mother is Danish.
O'Reilly is a jackanapes and a poltroon..

and did you see what she actually asked the reporter?
she said, "what is you favorite quality about our new president?" when the reporter declined to answer, she said he should be neutral about it.
um, how can you be neutral when answering a question that requires a positive answer? she woman is severely hot, but also severely uninformed. she will get by merely on her looks. which is fine. just don't judge others.

I’m not meaning to declare the Swedes evil, or to say that they were wartime aggressors. I was only denying the silly claim that Alba’s plea to be like Sweden was not based on her superior analysis of WWII.

She's eye candy. I can appreciate the view without listening to her stupidity. Not someone I'd want to spend a lifetime with, but for a few hours ... np.

Since she has a Danish mother, the preponderance of evidence is that she would know of Sweden's neutrality, as do pretty well all Scandinavians and Europeans.
But, of course, I can't prove that, just as you can't prove that she meant to say "Switzerland". So, given that here statement was accurate, I don't see what you base your conjecture on, unless it's your own limited knowledge.
As to the merit of Ms Alba's question it is irrelevant, the point was that O'Reilly poked fun at her when in fact she was correct.
I don't hate O'Reilly, but he does get a bit to full of himself at times.

If you really think Alba has the slightest idea about anything that has gone in Sweden in past hundred because she's part Danish...you're dumber than she is. If she knows the capitol of Denmark I'll buy you the Rutger Hauer movie library (even though he's Dutch).

I learned what I need to know about O’Reilly when he launched his attack against freerepublic.
If you paid attention to the post you would see that I said "the preponderance of evidence" suggested she knew but I had no proof.
Beside, it's irrelevant. Alba's comment was logically correct and O'Reilly ridiculed her for it.
It's not OK to lampoon someone who says something that is accurate on the basis the you don't THINK they actually knew that.
You are entitled to your opinion of Ms Alba, but I doubt if you have any basis for ascertaining what she does, or doesn't, know based on her education and life experiences. She graduated high school, had a successful formal acting education, has an extensive resume of 17 films over 14 year, traveling the world in the process.
Perhaps she has been to more places than you(?)and that has added to her education - who knows, I don't and don't think you do either. OK, so she's a leftie, but I don't know where you get to presume what she does or doesn't know.
BTW There's an Alba Zoo in Stockholm....LOL!
I'm sure Jim appreciates your loyalty, but freerepublic seems to have survived O'Reilly's obvious attempt to appear 'balanced,' just fine.
O'Reilly has since defended freerepublic as being incomparable to the Daily Kos and others. The truth is, he didn't know about freerepublic until it was sprung on him during one of his sheepdog fights with the liberal attack wolves on the left. O'Reilly responded by inviting freerepublic to come on his show and make their case.
Without sheepdog, Bill O'Reilly, more children/sheep will be harmed by the wolves and their accomplices on the bench.
Oreilley lost me when he strongly implied the Swift Boat vets were lying.

His schtick is to appear centrist. Sometimes he just looks disingenuous.

Which has nothing to do with my post, I learned what I needed to know about O’Reilly from his attack against freerepublic.

In 8+ years on FR and something like twenty thousand posts, I have never hit 'Report Abuse' to tattle to the mods about petty 'personal attacks' directed at me. Your post tempts me to change that policy.
