One of the ladies who posts here did a good analysis tonight on a Berg thread. Anderson filed a amicus breif to Berg’s case that SCOTUS accepted.
Anderson is reserve military and it was an interpleader. Insurnace companies do this when they ask the judge - who do we pay? Anderson asked if he has to take orders if someone may not be eligible. He is asking the court to answer that question.
I pointed out that the citizenry can get stiff armed but what happens when you stiff arm the military? How fast could the information on these cases spread through the military? When the military starts getting nervous about the govt in free countries - things can go haywire as they have in many western countries in the 20th Century.
Our system is based on faith in the system and laws - specifically the Constitution. The financial system is in bad shape because it runs on faith and faith is gone. This is why banks are not lending. Judges rewriting loans banks made. Why lend money when the rules and laws change daily.
Failing to follow laws and make things up on the fly causes chaos. Who swears an oath to the Constitution and knows a bit about the Constitution? Members of the military. They are sworn to uphold it.
