I’m gonna make a stab at it: The massive Tsunami a couple of years back spewed a lot of heat and methane OUT of the ocean and dissipated...lending a temporary bump to global warming.

Methane is a greenhouse gas. If it came out of solution the lower atmosphere should heat up according to the greenhouse theory. In fact the atmosphere and the oceans are cooling off. According to AGW and the greenhouse theory this would indicate a massive reduction of greenhouse gases.

Maybe something drives atmospheric and ocean temperatures other than AGW and the greenhouse effect theory.
