I think Jill Biden looks good....dress seems to fit and doesn't need ironing, not forced to wear flat shoes to get under Obama's height, her body seems proportionally correct. I'm not trying to knock Michelle; but, it is FASCINATING that she has been dubbed the new Jackie-O.She’s wearing her wedding ring in that pic. Normally she doesn’t have one on.
She should wear mid-calf dresses with slim skirts. Those prints are very bad, look like what used to be called “house dresses”. And I think short hair keeping some natural curl would be much better.
I've been pndering the comparison as well, but something about the way you phrased it struck me with a possible reason.
My mother was an in house model for the designer Hattie Carnegie when JFK was a Senator and Jackie was among the clientele (as were the rest of the Bouvier women.) According to my mother, who more than once was the assigned model for her, she was among the most arrogant and insufferable of the clientele. My mother chalked it up to the Bouvier's being nouveau riche and not being "of" class.
