I have classes. I will be in my history of the Middle East class when 0 is sworn in. Kinda appropriate...

I will not watch the inauguration. I didn’t watch the debates, nor the primaries, nor the caucuses, nor much of the election returns. From the very first primary until now I only heard 0bama’s voice about four times on TV, and they were during commercials that ran while my roommate had the TV on.

I hope for the change that January 20, 2013 brings...

My office is actually shutting down the phones for an hour and a half, and they are bringing in pizza for people who will be watching in the lunchroom. I work for what is theoretically a private company, but since it's a utility company, it's not like we have any competition.

Given the fact that my job is located about ten or fifteen miles away from NYC, that is probably as good a set of circumstances as any, most of my co-workers wouldn't be paying a lot of attention to work anyhow.
