What are you doing for Obama day?

Me either, I haven’t watched TV lately nor listened to terrestrial radio except for one country station which has done nothing except play country music and talk about country stars. I’m not even sure they’ve talked about the weather, let alone anything else!
Avoiding the news. I’ll watch HGTV, and that is about it.
I’m already teary eyed about the whole mess. I’ve never felt this bad about someone coming into office as I do about Obama. I have a terrible knot in my stomach.
What lunacy has come on this country!
Well, I am going to get up, start the household chores like I do every day, get school going (we homeschool), do some work on the computer, walk the dog, run to the store, watch a good movie after dinner, etc..then at night,right before bed, we are going to pray as a family that everything the dems touch falls apart and pray that there is so much bickering between them all that NOTHING they want to get done will get done.
Having rotor cuff repair surgery.

Think I’ll brush the dogs’ teeth.
Don't know what it's for, but I'll git'er done. I wanted to do it today, but I had the last of a stack of test procedures to review, and I promised the last review would be waiting when the folks got back from the MLK holiday. I also have some sort of on line training to complete by the end of the week, and I should be able to do that tomorrow as well.
I might listen in to see if lighting might strike as The One raises his hand and swears on Lincoln's Bible to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States". If anything deserves that sort of ZOT, that should be it.
But that depends on the Rush Jammer being down. Sometimes we can get the local station that carries Rush, can rarely get anything else, and sometimes there is a terrible "buzz saw" on that frequency. We haven't a clue what it might be. But given where we are, inquiring too closely might not be a Good Idea.
I'll be thinking about how it will have been 1451 days since Hanoi John Kerry promised on national television to sign form SF-180 and release his military record, and how in similar fashion our new Foreign Mole Mack Daddy Overlord won't cough up his birth certificate.
Sounds nice. But I might suggest something in an intermediate or full power semiautomatic rifle.
A pistol is what you use to get to your rifle. :)
Oh yea about three hours, then heavy drugs for a couple of days - yahoo!
I am going to clean house, run errands, and attend a morning Bible class. Won’t have time for tv.
I will go to work and try to avoid the TV in the lunchroom.
Total media blackout. The cultish hysteria is absolutely unbelievable.
I’ll be on FR, of course. I don’t count FR as “media.”
Checklist for the day of the Immaculate Inauguration:
1. Hang US flag upside down
2. Change thermostat from 68 to 72 whenever I want that day
3. Drive my Explorer Sport SUV whenever I want that day
4. Eat what ever I want that day—thinkin grain fed big juicy KC strip... something with a hell of a carbon footprint
5. Read my new copy of America’s First Freedom magazine from the NRA
6. Disconnect the cablebox
7. Take my German Shepherd out for long walk on a closed golf course and let her chase protected species.
8. Imbibe in some Jack Daniels... for medicinal purposes only
9. Listen to Limbaugh and Levin
10. Donate again to Free Republic
11. Pray for our nation
12. Get ready to defend these freedoms by any means necessary
I changed the order to a 9mm thinking of my daughter. I’m an old 66 dude and after when played my last game, she can take over and the 9 is fine. Plus the magcap is 19 +1.
Rifle is next on the list. And a 18” Defender shotgun. I need a bailout to buy my gun and ammo set up.
Wonder if “the one” would drop me 9,000 to get started.
Working, and changing my deductions on my W2 to give the govt less of my money each month (especially since Calif has said they may have to give IOUs instead of tax refunds). After work, I plan on getting caught up on watching the last season of Lost. Nothing else on TV tomorrow is remotely interesting to me...
I am considering inserting two of my fingers down my throat until I puke. Then my physical state will match my mental state at the moment.
Ditto on both.
I will be acting like an adult. My side lost.
I grew up tutored in responsible citizenship, including the concept of “loyal opposition.”
That said, I will watch as these clowns try to deliver on their promises, and point out their mistakes and failures.
And hope some strong wise people emerge on the right side politically for the next election cycle.
I plan to cling to my God and my guns. I believe I will need them more than ever in the coming conflict.
