Guess they didn't like A Canticle for Leibowitz then.

Did you see the preview for “Battlestar Galactica, The Plan”? It's the BSG story from the Cylon point of view.
To: SunTzuWu
I have also written a novel, “Sirat: Through the Fires of Hell”. Interstellar, inter-generational epic from accidental colonization to deliberate terraforming of a world - up to first contact with the crew’s descendants with a new star ship from Earth.
And it’s packed into just under 300 pages.

Sorry all. The episode they're showing now started so flashback heavy I thought it was the first one. It's last week's show. Next up is the repeat of the final ep.

bump to check out tomorrow
To: tbw2
I’ll check it out. I’m always looking for good books to read. I’d rather read than watch TV (except for BSG). It would be pretty neat to have a FR connection on my shelf. To bad Niven isn’t a FReeper.

Good night all. Thanks for the fun.
To: marajade
His Thor comic is the best comic i have ever read. B5 sucked.

Good job on this thread Kevin!
THat was a GREAT ending for BSG... sad to see it end though...

I've always been curious about the show but never watched an episode until the finale. I know, crazy. But I figured it out for the most part. And I have to say, it was extremely spiritual and religious. Tons of metaphors, etc. Basically, God is in control. Always has been, always will be.
150,000 years later scenario and the microcondria Eve reminds me a lot of the book, 'Link'.
I will rent the series and start from the beginning.

Better late than never. Some of the third season is a bit of heavy going, but the last season more than justifies it all.

Great ending. At around season three it was clear the best ending was if they were to be the start of the human race on Earth. I’m glad they went there instead of some Sopranos / Twin Peaks trainwreck.
Only one loose end I think. Did they ever explain the 13th cylon?
To: KevinDavis
Hey glad to see they are going to show new Stargate episodes. Nice!!

I wish they had more shows like this one with all out battles with the cylons. It would probably been rated number one is they had. Hopefully someone in the SciFi writing department will wake up and go wow great action scenes like this really make a show pop and realize this and find a TV exec and explain it to him.
