Dirk Vander Ploeg, the Publisher of UFO Digest, recently asked me if I knew of alien abductions having been stopped by the utterance of the name of Jesus. He told me that 'apparently this information is being withheld by Mufon and other reporters, investigators etc.'
I reminded him that I had written about the possibility of such occurrences in several articles including, Extraterrestrials Tremble at the Name of Jesus, UFO Digest March 29, 2007, and more recently The Birth of Christ caused the Extraterrestrial Extraterrestrials Tremble at the Name of Jesus, UFO Digest March 29, 2007, and more recently The Birth of Christ caused the Extraterrestrial Fallen Angels to Tremble December 3, 2008.
The word of God tells us that demons (as well as fallen angels, i.e. extraterrestrials) tremble at the name of Jesus (James 2:19) because God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above all names (Philippians 2:9). At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow of those on the earth, and those under the earth and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10).
My own article last year, My Anonymous CIA Source: The Real Story of UFOs, UFO Digest, 6/16/08, revealed that my source in Washington who worked for the CIA for 25 years after working, I believe, for the top secret Operation Paperclip after WWII which brought Nazi scientists to America, some of whom were supposedly involved in flying saucer research, and who was in charge of security for President Kennedys visit to Germany in the early sixties, and was confidant to later Presidents, told me to stay with my UFO writings about the Bible. He then told me that you have the truth. All else is opinion. This statement from a man whom I trust and who served in the highest echelons.
You were saying — “We as believers see a world and our country being taken over by the will of Satan....”
If there ever was room for a “conspiracy theory” — it would be the conspiracy of Satan, as told us in the Bible, in order to set up his worldwide rule through the Antichrist (whoever that may be and I don’t know... :-) ... ).
That’s the only true conspiracy that is going on in the world, aside from little and insignificant machinations of various individuals, trying to get their own way for their own self-benefit...

You said — “No way could the world come to a evil world power spoken in the Bible with as many Christians still inhabiting the earth.”
Yep, for how rapidly things have to progress (at that particular time) I would say that Christians have to be out of the way, all at once, or they would create too much of a “drag” on the whole process for it to take place so rapidly. Right now Christians do slow down the “progress” of evil in the world, in many ways. It still moves forward, though, in spite of what Christians do, because Satan has been granted the power to take over, when his time has come.
But, if you’ve seen my home page (on Free Republic) then you know I’m pre-trib... :-)
I think Satan gets the whole 7 years free of the Christians who are around today... LOL..
I guess what I’m really trying to say is don’t get complacent.
Indeed, my brother. People today too often buy into whatever the "mainstream" view is, ridicule anyone outside that viewpoint, and miss the obvious. It only takes a little Bible study to strongly support the viewpoint that God sent the flood not only because of widespread sin, but in large part to purge the human gene pool of what had become widespread angelic corruption. Why Noah? Because he was "perfect in his generations." IOW, his bloodline was clean and 100% human.
So many people totally misconstrue the nature of angels. Don't you cringe when someone implies that people die and go to heaven and become angels? That makes as much biblical sense as going to heaven and becoming a horse.

You make some excellent points...
Just my own personal opinion, based on what I have read biblically as well as other theories I have heard.
I tend to believe the Tribulation period has started in Oct 2008...I think maybe if anything cataclysmic should happen in 2012 it would explain why many people were killed..(Actually the RAPTURE of the Church) that might be the delusion GOD sends to the un-believer...2012
(Mid-Tribulation rapture)
And 2015 could be the return of Christ to earth...
Do you think the tribulation has started?
What about this thought - the LOVE OF MONEY is the root of all evil. Perhaps, those people who think they are going to "take over the world" for the sake of lining their own pockets, are just busy about Satan's business whether they know it or not. Look at all the greed, the coveteousness. The oligarch at heart just can't leave the middle class alone, just has to squeeze out every penny from the working folks. Otherwise, why would there be persecution. Generally, a Christian is to live modestly, quietly, working hard, so as not to impune God with ridiculous behaviour -- why bother such a person?
Bates has a cool book, and he argues that "alien abductions" only take place against non-Christians (even Andresson, or however that's spelled; if you look closer at the story, it's clear she believes in a Christ other than that of the Gospel). The Alien abductions stores are stultifyingly boring and similar - weird torture and experimentation, and the so-called aliens are almost without fail "preaching" a Christ other than that of the Gospels, trying to give shades of the truth, but missing some critical element of what the Bible teaches about Christ. Coincidence?
Just thinking...
Thanks. Will check it out.
I’m confident from my discussions with Guy Malone that it’s quite true.
You said — “To that I would say that a real Satan offered Jesus a real kingdom. Ghosts and ufos are false/deceptive spirits.”
Yes, it was a real kingdom in that it exists in the real world with real people and real buildings. Even with that being true, it’s still a false kingdom in that it is built on lies and deception (from Satan and the Antichrist), even though it’s “real” in the sense of being in the physical world.
So, something that comes from false and deceptive spirits — doesn’t mean they are not *real beings* — they are. They are real beings, doing real things in a false and deceptive way, in order to get people to “believe a lie” and not the truth of God.
—
Now, in regards to your statement up above — “My personal opinion is that these types of demonic apparitions could never happen to the elect. (ghosts, ufos, etc). I hope my theory is true : >0”
Here is where I think you’re wrong in that regard. To say that the elect could never see these things is to say that they don’t really happen in “real life” — but rather, only in the “head” of the deceived. If that were the case, then it could be considered to be what some psychologists say is “mass hysteria” — in that something is only “seen” in someone’s head, as part of this “mass hysteria” that happens with a group of people. If you’re not part of this mass hysteria (i.e., not carried away with it), you can be standing right next to someone and you won’t see what they are seeing — because it’s “just in their head”.
However, I don’t think it’s “just in their head” — but something that is happening in the “physical universe”. And if that is so, then whatever happens in the physical universe can be seen by whomever is there to see it — no matter whether they are of the elect or are a Satanist.
So, the question is, “Are these things happening in the physical universe that we live in?” I think that question should be obvious, that it certainly is.
Just because something is from an evil being and just because one may be “of the elect” doesn’t mean they can’t see what the evil being is doing. For a “real world” example, if you’ve seen the video of the evil Islamic terrorist cutting off the heads of innocent victims — you’ll know that because you’re looking at what an evil being is doing — does not mean you won’t be able to see it (if it’s based on deception and lies and comes from false spirits [which is certainly true of the evil Islamic terrorists...]).
If one is worried that bad things might happen to “one of the elect” from these evil beings, I would say, “that depends”. It depends on the protection of God over that individual. Nothing happens without God’s permission, anyway. God may allow certain things to happen, just like Jesus said to Peter that Satan was granted permission to test him. Those sorts of things may happen. However, I believe that God does protect His own, and nothing happens to them without His express will or permissive will (in either case). Pray for your protection and God will grant your protection (people have to be reminded, though, that a lot of this also depends upon the person in honoring God and following His will, too...).
Blessed to read this.
Guy Malone of
affirms the same thing.
He had abduction experiences as a teen.
God led him out into freedom and he has a ministry now for other abductees etc.
He SURVEYED *ALL* THE WELL KNOWN RESEARCHERS IN THE FIELD. ALL INSISTED ON ANONYMITY
AND
ALL AFFIRMED that their files include many such cases but they refuse to disclose that fact and I don’t think they would even answer why they refuse to disclose that fact. Played super coy.
Deluded and duped, seems to me . . . &/or threatened by the PTB.
Submission to Jesus Christ never has gone well with ME-FIRST-ISM, selfishness, power mongering, rebellion against God etc.
Really? Who has said that?
Yeah, the clueless seem to find cannon fodder in lots of groundless areas.
Likewise the ill-informed, the uninformed, the inexperienced, the blind, the willfully blind, those with their heads in the sand; the chronically ignorant; the terminally stupid;
BTW, Dave, given that I have no access to the list—unless it’s in one of your emails to me . . . I forget . . . would you be willing to ping the list to this. I think it’s worth it.
Actually, you likely don’t know nor understand how wholesale and deeply true that is.
THANKS.
Much appreciated.
INDEED.
BTW, a number of folks in the field have long felt that MUFON was headed by government shills.
Yes, how true that cartoon is. Isn’t it amazing that these so-called “aliens” (supposedly from advanced civilizations) want to talk to people about God and Jesus and the Bible, usually contradicting it and telling them how it’s not totally accurate...
Why would aliens from advanced civilizations be interested in the Bible... LOL...
I suppose. I don't see 0bama as a living god, for example.
You asked — “Really? Who has said that?”
LOL..., ummm.., you haven’t been involved in other “alien threads” then... :-)
[ they are “out there”..., i.e., those FReepers... ]
“Yes, it was a real kingdom in that it exists in the real world with real people and real buildings. Even with that being true, its still a false kingdom in that it is built on lies and deception (from Satan and the Antichrist), even though its real in the sense of being in the physical world.”
Well, Satan must of been able to deliver the goods or it would not have been a real temptation. If Jesus knows it all lies and deceptions why be tempted?
As to your other points, based on the information I have read regarding these things (ghosts, ufos) without fail, it seems people who testify about their experience are non-christians or very unorthodox in their beliefs. Also, these people are usually involved with the occult.
The Bible does NOT say that the only beings ‘out there’ are angels and fallen angels.
It’s essentially silent on the issue.
Arguing from silence is not a good bet.
Guy Malone believes, more or less, as I recall . . . that
all the purported aliens reported about are fallen angels, nephilium, watchers etc. He may well be right.
However, it is BIBLICALLY QUITE POSSIBLE, even probable that there ARE other worlds and civilizations on them.
Even if there are and even if such critters are part of the fleets dinking around with earth—THEY AS WELL—at least all those reported on—ARE ALSO IN CAHOOTS WITH SATAN toward setting up the global government of Biblical prophecy.
Some Biblical Scriptures perhaps hint at other habitable worlds . . . I don’t recall all of them off the top of my head but there are a few.
One is the fact that BELIEVERS IN JESUS WILL RULE AND REIGN WITH HIM ETERNALLY. I have a hard time seeing, imagining that happen exclusively over this planet.
Another is that Abraham was promised that his offspring would number as the grains of sand of the seashore. I believe that will turn out to be literal. I don’t expect THAT to have to do with exclusively this planet.
CERTAINLY we know that every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that JESUS THE CHRIST IS LORD OF LORDS AND KING OF KINGS.
One of the narratives I read in support of this article was about a bloke who woke up seeing a forming ephemeral form toward the foot of his bed. Next thing he was conscious of, he had a rod up his rear and was hoisted on said rod 2-3 feet above his bed. He screamed and his wife remained comotose. The next thing he screamed was recalling something from long forgotten Sunday School—something like ‘IN THE NAME OF JESUS STOP! JESUS HELP ME!’
INSTANTLY
the rod was withdrawn so quickly he fell hard back to his bed—so hard he woke his wife.
There have been many similar reports.
I didn’t know that mental health professionals had noted a big increase in such clients. I’d love to read the references on that, if anyone has them.
