This is ridiculous. The chick is 27 and the guy is 18? If he were 17 I wouldn’t have a problem with this. The fact that he’s an adult— this is outrageous.
The only issue ought to be that she was in an authority position so maybe she should lose her job. But to get the courts involved I think is just overkill.
Most companies I’m involved with just order the separation of the two to prevent supervisor-employee conflict. Firings don’t occur even in reality.
I don’t see any merit of illegality based on age difference. Again, the guy is ‘legal’ because he’s 18 = at or above the age of consent.
