I am feeling better. I have been studiously avoiding being outside when the temperature is less that 58F and that helps a lott [sic! It is a pun.]. I still can’t sing or talk for more than 3 of 4 sentences. Basically, I’m a little better than I was when I arrived from Papua last June.
We did have a nice night on Saturday. It was just hubby and me and the girls. LD gave me GUILTY and the rest gave me nothing. The dinner was nice.
Last night we went back with a larger group. All my side of the family who is in the state showed up (just 11 of us). I toyed with changing my standard order. So, I started off with the gingerbread martini. Mistake! Never having had kahlua before I didn’t know if I’d like it. I don’t. So, I passed that on to Dad and his bride. The only change then, was the appetizer. I had the chicken quesaidia instead of the mushrooms.
