2008 NFL DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF WEEKEND LIVE THREAD
January 10th - 4:30PM ET
January 10th - 8:15PM ET
January 11th - 1:00PM ET
January 11th - 4:45PM ET
What a great weekend!!!!
Now 6-2 against the spread, including 6 in a row....
Now, before Jack Bauer kicks ass, lets look at next week’s games.....
NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
EAGLES@CARDINALS(3:00pm EST/FOX)——If anyone picked this matchup at the start of the playoffs, please let me know so I could gain some advice on important issues in life. This should easily be the higher scoring of the 2 games. Again, can Arizona establish the run consistantly enough to take some pressure off of Kurt Warner? Or does that Eagles D, playing as good at D in the last few games as I can ever recall make Kurt make the same mistakes that Jack Delhomme made last night?
I’m gonna say this is listed as a pick ‘em game. I really want Arizona not to lose and for the dream season to go on............OK then.......
EAGLES 23 CARDINALS 24
AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
RAVENS@STEELERS(6:30PM EST/CBS)-——Since 24 is on, let’s skip through the crap. Everybody knows this is all about the defense, and how well Joe Flacco will perform under pressure.
I would place the Steelers as 4 point favorites. As I am picking the Ravens to go to the Super Bowl, I’m not backing off now, am I?
RAVENS 14 STEELERS 7
Steelers win!!!
Go Cardinals!!!
Flights have been slow lately. Even students not showing up.
I am going to postpone all activities to make sure I watch that game ... if any FReeper goes to The Ram at the “U Village” I’ll be there with friends .....
1) If we get the Eagles versus Steelers, the entire state of Pennsylvania will be turned upside down. We'll be arguing who has the best cheesesteak, the classic "Philly cheesesteak" or the Primanti Brothers version, just for starters!
2) If we get the Eagles versus Ravens, the folks in northern Delaware will be caught in the middle, to say the least. And ESPN's Scott Van Pelt won't be speaking to fellow ESPNer Sal Paolantonio for months, either.
All Pennsy final. After that it it depends on who’s willing to risk the most injury for the ring.

Corned beef is delicious if its cooked right. Most places serve it and its tough like leather.
Although it wasn't as tender tonight as I like it, the meal was delicious.
Bring the wine! : )
We occasionally get served by the U.S. Postal Service.
That's when the stagecoach is running on time.
Motorized snowshoes????
Gonna knock off for the night and get ready for school tomorrow.
Have a great night! You're well thought of.
Sleep tight!
Same here - going to watch the rest of The Godfather .... signing off as well ...
The sucking sound you hear the ratings of the league title games and the Super bowl going down the crapper.
I think the Eagles can beat either the Steelers or the Ravens if they get past Arizona next week.
That Iggles D Is every bit as good as the Ravens is now. And of course so is the Steelers too.
So what we have are 3 great defenses and 1, in Arizona, that came up large when it needed to. They have shined in spurts, not as consistent as the other 3.
I would think most will think the SB will be the battle of PA. As I said in the earlier post, I won’t pick against the Ravens now. And if Anquain comes back and plays the dream could continue.
Still on cloud 9??
You should go, and witness history in person!!!
Am I allowed on the bus yet?
Yesterday was a great day of football and “24”. Don’t forget to watch tonight at 8:00 for two more new shows!
