Funny (in a pathetic way) how Ann's book is being reviewed by the hate-spammers on A.com, who haven't read it. Or haven't seen her lately, either, since a few of them think she still has her jaw wired shut.
By the pattern of reviews, it's clear that reviewers either love or hate her, with most reviews falling on the extremes of the spectrum, either 1-star or 5-star.
And the reviews and discussion threads read like FR. Except. Those who hate tend toward the highly intellectual insights such as . . .
"I am no Liberal, but ann is an A hole!"
Should you buy Guilty, I'd suggest you go to A.com after reading and give it a fair review.
I know I will. Meanwhile, the reason I'm particularly eager to read the book is not because of reviews but the excerpts. "Jug-eared clodhopper." Man, THAT's funny.
The simple thing is, Ann's writing makes me laugh at the whole species of jug-eared clodhoppers and their attendant hypocrisy. Aren't many writers on the other end of the spectrum can make you laugh from the belly.
Ah the intellectual haven of internet comment boards.
Good. I hope she gives ‘em all a stroke.
She’s crying all the way to the bank, baby. heh
Once something happens to a conservative, it is permanent as far as liberals are concerned.
“I am no Liberal, but ann is an A hole!”
And according to the debating rules of the democrats, they never admit to being a liberal on a public discussion board.
Funny, negative reviews of Nancy Pelosi`s book
were deleted. Literally, hundreds of them.

I’d forgotten that. Thanks for the reminder. And these are the folks who want a Fairness Doctrine.
Be very afraid.
I have not read it yet myself which is unusual. I usually read Ann Coulter’s books within a few days of their availability.
This time around I am waiting for my free copy from News Max.
I am already sorry that I took advantage of their “free” offer. They have sent me more E-mails than Amazon does, and still there is still no book in my mail box.
My last book, “America’s Victories: Why the U.S. Wins Wars,” had about an even share of good and critical reviews, then all of a sudden I had about five stupid, short, nasty reviews in a one-week period. I asked some of my friends and colleagues to post some favorable reviews, which they did. The spamming stopped.
The best part is that a lot of those negative reviews wee there when the book was on pre order so no way most could’ve read it. It’s really too bad liberals aren’t as smart as they tell each other they are!
While you are there pick up “A Parliament of Whores” by P.J. O’Roarke.
It is the most enlightening and yet funniest book on government that you will ever ready
P.J. Should do an update
Mr. O'Rourke once observed (on Crossfire, IIRC) that liberalism is immoral, because you can't get into Heaven by taking your neighbor's bank account and giving it to the poor...
Excellent.
I’ve got that one somewhere, loved it, probably could re-read it now. Peej equates Congress with a toddler at one point, I about wet ‘em.
Good point about P.J. O’Roarke. I laughed till I nearly puked.
I have all of P.J.’s books and like them all the but the one about his draft dodging. The best line in which is the dedication remarks to the soldier who punched him out.
Thanks for the reminder. And I agree he should update.
In fact, Ann will have a treasure trove of material for the next four years. Between them and Kass, I’m going to have a great time.
