Who wants to bet that Utah wins the AP poll if this game is a dog (or even if not a dog)?

No bet. Utah will be #2 behind whoever wins tonight, dog game or not.

It depends on how many AP voters decide to lock in their #1 selection for the winner of the title game. I do know that the AP voter in my town isn’t voting the Utes #1 and he’s a U of U alum.

I’d like to see the Utes win the AP. Undefeated is Undefeated and they beat ‘Bama in what was basically a home game for the Tide. You can’t ask any more than that.

From what I understand, there are a lot of votes for Utah. I heard that the MAC schools, for example, are voting Utah.

This game is a probably a dog, since Oklahoma is involved.
The Big 12 was the fraud of 2008.
Mizzou about equal to Northwestern.
Okie Lite was about as physical as an 80s WAC team.
Texas Tech was a flat out embarrassment.
Texas struggled with an offensively punchless Ohio State squad.
None of them ran the ball a lick except against one another. Therefore, Oklahoma is probably the best of breed in a very poor litter.

Utah lacks Strength of Schedule points compared to Big 12 teams. Put them in Big 12 play for a season and watch them lose no less than 3 games.

Utah deserves the Championship; they validated their record with the defeat of Alabama. The game between the gators and sooners is for place and show....and I’m a big Sooner fan...have been since the days of Steve Owens.

The Liberal Messiah will probably either get legislation to force the NCAA to adopt a playoff system or sue them over the BCS violating federal antitrust laws.
