neat, but what the heck is Apple doing not coming back next year?

This is when they announce new products, so what will they do in the future?

Nice to see the new 17-inch Macbook Pro.

Just wish a matte screen was available for the 15-inch.

Does anybody know of a good anti-glare cover or something for when you are outside?

I am hoping to get a Macbook Pro by April or so, but my wife’s HP glossy screen is virtually unusable when driving in the car during the day, not a good thing when she got a air card so she can use the internet while driving.

They'll do their own thing, maybe at the developer conference. Apple has said they've slowly started to pull out of all of these shows. Of course mainly Apple fans watch these anyway, so maybe as the fans start getting to be a smaller and smaller percentage of the user base there will be no shows anymore, and Apple will rely on regular advertising venues.

I think I read that Apple used to do 6 shows a year world wide and they have cut that down over the years to the Frisco Show...
