Discussion doesn't have to be positively slanted toward Apple, e.g. I've posted both pro and con Apple in the past; I'm no Apple fanboy. But this is a thread about the keynote address.
What I meant by:
...If you don't like the topic under discussion, nobody's making you post here...was "the topic here is the Macworld keynote address, not who is on their board of directors (believe me, we all already know that!), or whether their products are an artificial fad." Those comments are nothing but trolling and/or hijack attempts. That's why I suggested you:
...learn more about how the tech forums operate...since we try (admittedly with imperfect success) to stick to the posted topic.
You're welcome to throw whatever negative comments you want at the keynote or Macworld or Schiller, or argue with those who liked it -- knock yourself out; that's what this thread is about.
But trolling only serves to annoy the serious posters, and it reduces the credibility of your on-topic comments. So please don't clutter an otherwise interesting discussion with off-topic trash that floats in the thread like a turd in a punchbowl.
Thanks!
No need to thank me, I’ll be posting on every Apple discussion I find. No one is trolling, I boycott Apple because of their leftist image and under the radar support of leftist ideology; and I hate to see fanboys posting ads in the guise of press releases.
I recommend you re-examine your beliefs and boycott Apple.
