thats ok as long as they track who reads which digital version and sends that info to the govt.

Oh and they need to censor what you can read to comply with govt directives.

no other issues here, certainly no copyright issues.

Since you can pretty much watch any just released movie out there without even downloading anymore, books should be easy.

Their purpose is a little bit more than nefarious tracking of who reads what. If the population ever becomes totally invested in reading their books, novels etc. from a PC, then Google becomes the master censor. Ideas are powerful, ideas that can be censored before they are related are not.
