HOWDY FREEPERS!!!!!!!

This observation is pretty much the sum total of everything that has been going on with the Blago scandal and the ramifications of this situation now going National with the launch of a brand new Presidency.

This doesn't in anyway revolve around any particular story. I have actually written letters to the editor and posted blogs on this very problem. It's not unique to Illinois. Many other places have had this problem.

But this one is of the upmost importance becuase the person we're about to institute into the Presidency unfortunately comes from this corrupt enterprise.

Now, lately I've been reading all sorts of nonsense from the Obamabots saying things like we need to to get over it and Obama's a centrist and stuff like that. In fact earlier this morning another fellow freeper posted a thread where he/she has been noticing the Obama trolls messing around here.

This is something that I mentioned in the current Freepathon thread I would be addressing and I think there are some things that need to be impressed upon everyone here.

First off this is not something you get over. Not if you're a christian or conservative. Secondly, this is not how America or a state like Illinois should be run.

I've been going to other blogs and reading responses to them from those who think it's just fine and dandy for Blago to run a state like that becuase we need a New World Order and conservatives are terrorists who need to be rounded up and locked away and all that. This is really what scares the living daylights out of me.

I have talked to people from Illinois in chat rooms who have had dealings with people like this. Can you imagine being able to buy the complete round up and imprisionment of certain groups of people for a campaign contribution to an elected official.

This is a problem that has been going on for over five decades in Southeast Oklahoma. I know this for a fact because as a native Oklahoman I've seen and read stories about stuff like this going on.

Whether anyone like me saying it or not, this is not an accpetable way to run a state or a country or a municipality. Obama, Blago and everyone associated with this criminal enterprise belong in a jail cell, not in a goverment office.

I can tell you if this were a GOP story, you'd be hearing more about it now than you are here. Selling off a Senate seat or a taxpayer funded donation to a speical interest in exchange for a bribe or a kickback or a campaign donation is not the way to excerise power.

But, unfortunately this seems to be where we're headed and I really do fear for my country.

Now you know why we need to keep FR running, don't you. As I've stated many times before these are not the kind of people you stand behind and sing kumbaya with.

This corrupt political machine does not need any support or encouragement. It needs to be undermined. If we don't do something and we allow this corrupt political machine to run America to the ground the way ran Chicago down to the ground, America will most certainly cease to exist.

And to those who think it's just fine and dandy for things like this to happen and that peoeple like me "need to grow up and get a life", I just have one question for you. Have you no shame!!!!! I thought you were more intelligent than this, but I guess not.

Blagojevich is Chicago Machine as are the Madigans, and anyone else, including Obama, who comes out of Chicago/Cook County politics. Chicago Machine = Mob. That’s what everyone needs to know.

Secondly, Blagojevich, through the Illinois state constitution, has the right to appoint a successor to Obama’s Senate seat. Period. Since he’s still the sitting Governor that right is still operative.

Obama’s taking Harry Reid and the Democrat Senator’s side in the appointment debate (against Roland Burris) is bucking the Chicago Machine. This is something someone who’s beholden to the Chicago Machine should not do. And Obama is beholden, make no mistake about that. The Chicago Machine (Mob) never forgets. The Chicago Machine will someday seek retribution. I’ll leave all good readers to fill in the blanks on this...
