I don’t remember the date of the newspaper clipping. Saw it on whatreallyhappeneddotcom. What I noticed about that clipping though was that the source was the Hawaii Bureau of Vital Statistics or something like that.

That’s why I wasn’t convinced that Obama wasn’t born in Hawaii. But there is something mysterious about this. Why all the hiding of background information?

The mere registering of the birth of a baby with the Dept. of Vital Stats, even if it was a home birth, would generate a birth announcement in both papers. The announcement appeared in “The Honolulu Advertiser” on Sunday, August 13,1961 and in “The Star Bulletin” on Wednesday, August 16, 1961. The problem with the announcement is the address which was used. The home at that address was owned by Orland Scott and Thelma Lefforge Young.

The date of the newspaper that had O’s birth announcement was August 8th, 1961.
